Over the course of his career, he has honed his skills in leadership, project management, process improvement, strategic planning, and budget management—skills he is eager to continue applying to help shape the future of Garden Ridge.

He also represents the Northeast Partnership on the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization’s Technical Advisory Committee. Previously, he served as the Chair of the Water Commission and as a Commissioner on the Planning & Zoning Commission. Through these roles, he has built a strong foundation in the city's governance.

Community service is a core value of his, and he has dedicated many hours of service to both his community and church. In addition to his civic work, he serves on the Board of Directors for the 100 Club of Comal County. He is the President of the Garden Ridge Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association and a past co-chair of the Garden Ridge Car Show. While he is not a member of the Garden Ridge Lions Club, he has volunteered with their fundraisers to support the community. At Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, he serves as an Extraordinary Minister and Usher and is also a member of the Knights of Columbus Selma Council, where he distributes communion to housebound brothers, and has assisted with numerous fundraiser events and in the building four Habitat for Humanity homes.

Jesse is committed to providing confident and dependable leadership to the residents of Garden Ridge as Mayor. His engineering and corporate management background will guide him in making informed decisions which are grounded in thoroughly studying issues and listening to and addressing the community’s concerns. He is dedicated to maintaining our public safety and community values through collaboration with residents, business owners, community organizations, and city employees.

Jesse is eager to continue to serve the City of Garden Ridge and would be honored to have your support to keep this community moving forward.
